Paisley, the Director Gyal

Paisley Sutton (she/her) is a director, writer, and producer from Detroit, MI. She studied at Loyola Marymount University’s School of Film and Television where she directed her award-winning short documentary Descendants.

After graduating, Paisley interned at RadicalMedia and co-wrote music videos. Most notably, she co-wrote the Grammy-nominated music video "Lockdown" by Anderson.Paak.

In 2021 Paisley and Patrice Cheesman founded WINNIE MEDIA, a production company that aims to give marginalized folks a seat at the creative table.

Paisley continues creating in Detroit and Los Angeles. Her work is driven by stories of her lineage in the past, present, and future.
